About the Organization

The Furniture Bank of Metro Detroit is a longstanding nonprofit that provides essential furniture and home-items to local families in crisis — including children, seniors, victims of fire or domestic violence, and those transitioning out of homelessness.
Furniture Bank of Metro Detroit

With over six decades of service in Metro Detroit, they’ve evolved their brand and identity to match their expanded impact and ambition. Under new leadership and a refreshed name and logo, they’re committed not just to furnishing homes, but to restoring dignity, stability, and hope in the lives of the families they serve.

Project Overview

When new leadership joined the Furniture Bank of Metro Detroit, the organization began a comprehensive brand refresh — including a new name, updated logo, and a stronger emphasis on mission-forward storytelling. With this momentum, they needed a modern website that reflected their evolving identity and made it easier for donors, families, and partners to understand the impact of their work.

We redesigned the entire site from the ground up using a flexible, future-ready framework, custom UI components, and restructured layouts that support clearer navigation and a more compelling donor journey. The updated experience improves content clarity across all programs and lays the foundation for ongoing fundraising initiatives — including major campaigns like the 1,000 Beds Challenge.

We also partnered closely with leadership to develop mission-focused content that communicates their purpose, amplifies their community impact, and strengthens trust with donors.
